Player Bio

Zac Blair began his 2013-14 season playing PGA TOUR Latinoamerica, where he made six cuts in seven starts. With limited conditional status on the Web.com Tour, Blair played the second half of the season on the Web.com Tour and ended up making 12 starts. The BYU product contended for his first title in his sixth start at the Price Cutter Charity Championship, where a final-round 66 resulted in a T2 finish. Blair comfortably qualified for the Web.com Tour Finals at No. 38 on the money list, but after missing the cut in the first three Finals events, he entered the Web.com Tour Championship at TPC Sawgrass’ Dye’s Valley Course with one final shot at his TOUR card for the 2014-15 season. A then course-record-tying 63 moved Blair into contention, and he carried that momentum to finish alone in second place. After beginning the week with $0 earned in the Finals, Blair’s timely performance vaulted him to 11th on the Finals priority ranking and a new life on the PGA TOUR.

The Florida native grabbed eight top-10s, including a runner-up finish at the Nova Scotia Open, and ended the regular season at No. 13 on the money list, good enough to ensure his return to the PGA TOUR for the 2014-15 season, where he was a member in 2009. As the Web.com Tour Finals approached, Fathauer kept his strong play intact, finishing T9, T16 and T8 in the first three events before heading to his home state for the finale at the Web.com Tour Championship at TPC Sawgrass’ Dye’s Valley Course. Fathauer opened with a 65 and never looked back, capturing his first victory in his 73rd start. The win also propelled him to No. 1 on the Finals priority ranking, which gave him fully exempt 2014-15 PGA TOUR status and an invitation to THE PLAYERS Championship in May.

Lingmerth started the final round of the first Finals event, the Hotel Fitness Championship, tied for 26th. Thanks to a 64 on Sunday, Lingmerth shot up the leaderboard to finish T4 and in great position to regain his PGA TOUR card. After respectable showings in the second and third Finals events, the former Arkansas Razorback wrapped up the Finals with a solo sixth at the Web.com Tour Championship to improve his Finals priority ranking. His Sunday 65 at TPC Sawgrass’ Dye’s Valley Course sent him back to the PGA TOUR with newfound confidence, and he later captured the 2015 Memorial Tournament in a sudden-death playoff over Justin Rose for his first career PGA TOUR victory.

Hadley finished T4 at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship before finding the winner’s circle at the Web.com Tour Championship at TPC Sawgrass’ Dye’s Valley Course. Hadley opened with 65-66 in the first two rounds, and then used a 69 on Sunday to seal his second victory of the season and a No. 3 finish on the Finals priority ranking. Just six months later, Hadley was victorious for the first time on the PGA TOUR, capturing the Puerto Rico Open on his way to becoming the 2013-14 PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year.

The Scot finished the regular season at No. 36 on the money list, and began the Web.com Tour Finals with his PGA TOUR card still in doubt. But with a T6 performance at the Web.com Tour Championship at TPC Sawgrass’ Dye’s Valley Course, Knox was able to regain his TOUR card for the 2013-14 season, where he found success, notching two top-10s that included a runner-up finish at The Honda Classic.

Game Day Rules

The format for today's Media Day golf is a best ball with no handicaps. Participant plays his or her own ball; the team uses the best score as their score for the hole. Each group will be paired with a former Web.com Tour player who will act as an extra member of the team. Using this website, the selected real scorecard for your Tour player will show you the player's hole-by-hole score. Your team will be able to use that player's score if it is lower than any recorded by a member of your team. For example, if your team makes par on the first hole but your player made birdie, the team would record a birdie for that hole. Men will play the white tees and Women will play the green tees.
